The Deadline era is the right time to read their charts
2026 has been generous to BLINKs. The Deadline EP (February 27) broke first-week sales records for a K-pop girl group and pushed "Go" onto the Hot 100 yet again, the stadium tour that made them the first K-pop girl group to headline Wembley kept rolling, and this August marked ten years since their debut. If you've been searching "BLACKPINK zodiac" during this run, consider going one layer deeper: Saju (사주) — the Korean Four Pillars of Destiny, the system behind the growing k-saju / k-fortune wave.
Below are all four members' charts calculated from their real public birthdays with an actual manse-ryeok calendar engine. Every pillar below is computed; nothing is invented.
One quick primer before the readings
Saju reads four pillars — year, month, day, hour. Since birth times aren't public for idols, these charts use year/month/day only (the day-based reading still carries personality and aptitude). The key character is the day master (일간) on top of the day pillar: it's you in the chart. (Full walkthrough: how to read your Four Pillars.)
Jisoo & Rosé — same day master, different polish
Here's a coincidence worth savoring in debut-anniversary season: Jisoo (Jan 3, 1995) and Rosé (Feb 11, 1997) share the exact same day master, Gap Wood (甲木) — the tall tree that grows straight toward the light. Both charts land Balanced, too. But the finishing touches differ: Jisoo's chart leans on Siksin (식신) expression and steadiness with Water as her yongshin, while Rosé's carries Sanggwan (상관) — the star of performance and standing out — with Fire as her balancing element.

Same timber, two very distinct voices. It's the cleanest illustration of why Saju never stops at "what's your element."
Jennie — water that runs deep
Jennie (Jan 16, 1996) is a Im Water (壬水) day master — ocean water: deep, moving, hard to pin down — classified Balanced with a near-perfect strength score. Her month pillar holds Jeonggwan (정관), the discipline-and-composure star, while the year brings Sanggwan charisma. Her chart asks for Metal as yongshin — the element that gives water direction. Composure on the outside, current underneath: the chart reads exactly like her stage presence.

Lisa — steady earth, fed by fire
Lisa (Mar 27, 1997) is the group's only Earth day master: Mu Earth (戊土) — mountain earth, solid and unshakable — also Balanced, supported by Jeongjae (정재) practicality and Jeongin (정인) learning stars. Her yongshin is Fire: the element of visibility and performance that makes earth glow at sunset. A chart about foundations that loves the spotlight — fitting for the member who anchors the dance break.

All four members land balanced — now check yourself
Four members, four different day masters (two woods, one water, one earth), and every single chart classifying as Balanced. Whether or not you read anything into that, it's a nice ten-year-old story: four charts with nothing excessive, nothing missing.

Note: this article is for entertainment, based on publicly available birth dates (no birth times, so hour pillars are omitted). Interpretations illustrate general tendencies of each day master and do not describe the actual individuals.
