Why ARMY is searching for BTS Saju right now
BTS came back as seven. Arirang, their first full-group album since Proof (2022), dropped on March 20, 2026 and spent two consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard 200 — and the world tour that followed has been running through stadiums since April. From Gwanghwamun to the World Cup final halftime show, the group is everywhere right now, and searches for BTS members' zodiac and fortune are peaking with it.
But if you want to go deeper than sun signs, there's a Korean way to do it: Saju (사주), the Korean Four Pillars of Destiny — what fans increasingly call k-saju or k-fortune. Below we calculated each member's chart from their real public birthdays using an actual manse-ryeok calendar engine. No made-up charts.
Saju is not just your birth year
Your zodiac animal comes from the birth year alone. Saju reads four pillars — year, month, day, and hour — so two people born in the same year can have completely different day masters (일간), the character that represents you. The hyung line — three strong charts, three different elements
Jin (Dec 4, 1992) is a Gap Wood (甲木) day master — a tall, upright tree — with a Strong chart. His month pillar carries Jeonggwan (正官, the Officer star), the classic signature of discipline and responsibility: the eldest hyung who holds the line. His balancing element (yongshin) is Fire, the element of expression.
Suga (Mar 9, 1993) is a Gi Earth (己土) day master — soft garden soil that grows things patiently — with the most Weak (yin-leaning) chart of the group. His pillars lean on Pyungwan (편관) drive and wealth stars, and Fire is the element his chart asks for: warmth, stage lights, expression. A producer's chart, you could say.
J-Hope (Feb 18, 1994) and RM (Sep 12, 1994) were born the same year but couldn't be more different inside. J-Hope is Eul Wood (乙木) — climbing vines, flexibility, cheer — with a Strong chart carrying Sanggwan (상관), the expressive performer star. RM is Shin Metal (辛金) — refined jewelry metal: precise, articulate — also Strong, fed by Siksin (식신) creativity. Both read as leaders; they just lead in different languages.
The maknae line — two fires and a vine
Jimin (Oct 13, 1995) and Jungkook (Sep 1, 1997) are the unit's two Fire day masters: Jimin a candle-like Jeong Fire (丁火), Jungkook a blazing Byeong Fire (丙火) — the sun. Both charts classify as Weak in raw self-force, which in Saju terms means they shine brighter with the right support around them — and both list Wood as their yongshin, the element that feeds Fire. A dancer's fuel, conveniently.
V (Dec 30, 1995) shares J-Hope's Eul Wood day master but lands Balanced instead of Strong, anchored by Bigyeon (비견) peer energy and a steady wealth star, with Water as his yongshin. Same timber as J-Hope, different finish — a good example of why Saju reads all four pillars, not just the year.
