CatchSay ("we", "us") provides an AI-powered saju (Four Pillars) and fortune-telling service. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It is currently provided in English; localized versions may follow.

1. Information we collect

  • Birth information — birth date, time, and (optionally) whether it is lunar. This is required to calculate your saju chart and generate readings.
  • Account information — email address and authentication details when you sign up.
  • Conversations & usage — messages you exchange with our AI characters and basic usage metrics (e.g. tokens consumed) to operate and improve the service.
  • Payment information — when you purchase a plan or tokens, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe does.
  • Analytics — privacy-friendly, cookie-less usage analytics (self-hosted Umami) such as page views and funnel events. We do not sell this data.

2. How we use your information

  • To compute your saju chart and generate personalized readings and voice content.
  • To create and secure your account, and to provide customer support.
  • To process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent abuse.
  • To understand and improve how the service is used.

3. AI processing

To generate readings and chat responses, the necessary inputs (such as your saju features and messages) are sent to third-party AI model providers for processing. We share only what is needed to produce a response.

4. Third parties

We rely on service providers including Stripe (payments), AI model providers (reading and chat generation), Resend (transactional email), and Cloudflare (infrastructure and email routing). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.

5. Data retention

We retain account and reading data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact).

6. Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal data, and clear your stored birth information from your account settings. To exercise these rights, contact us below.

7. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction).

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
